The IORG Online Quarterly Event will take place on Dec. 9, 2009 at
11:30 a.m. EST. This will be a roundtable discussion on "How Does Information Overload Impact You?"
moderated by Jonathan Spira, IORG's VP of research. He will be joined by Prof. Jonathan Ezor, director of
the Institute for Business, Law and Technology at Touro.

The first Annual Meeting of the Members of IORG will take place by teleconference on July 13, 2009,
at Noon EST. The agenda includes the election of the IORG Board of Directors. For more details,

On April 27 at 12:30 p.m. EDT, IORG will hold a 90 minute online event on
the theme Information Overload: Impact on the Organization. Using an interactive online environment,
attendees will be able to chat with one another and participate in an extensive Q&A/discussion session.
Confirmed speakers include Col. Peter Marksteiner, USAF, Prof. Gloria Mark, UC Irvine, and Dr. Oliver
Brdiczka, PARC.

A teleconference meeting of IORG members will take place on
Feb. 26 at Noon EST. Members have received invitations with the
details. Looking forward to meeting you all there!

IORG's second conference will take place April 27-28 at PARC
(Palo Alto Research Center Inc., a Xerox company) in sunny California!
Details are being put together, and will be communicated shortly;
expect a stimulating program bridging the Academia/Industry gap, in line
with IORG's basic boundary-crossing credo.

With our inaugural
conference over, the IORG steering
team (after catching its breath...) is now working to define future
activities for our new organization. Stay tuned... and meanwhile,
any and all suggestions and insights you care to
share are welcome!

IORG is now official! As of June 3, 2008 we are formally a non-profit organization, allowing us to pursue our mission, expand our membership, and produce value for our diverse base of stakeholders. We'll be kicking things off with our inaugural conference in July at the Penn Club in New York City!
