Daphne R. Raban is a Lecturer at the Graduate School of Management, University of Haifa.
She is active in the Center for the Study of the Information Society (http://infosoc.haifa.ac.il). Her broad area of research interest is the value of information including topics such as information markets, economics of information goods, information/knowledge sharing, the interplay between social and economic incentives, and games and simulations.
In collaboration with Prof. Quentin Jones from NJIT she researches quantitative aspects of information overload. She also collaborates with IBM HRL on social computing research.
Overloaded 2012 a success – more events planned in future!

The Information Overload Research Group’s Overloaded 2012 un-conference, a lively one-day gathering of information overload crusaders from a diversity of domains, was a complete success.
