Reducing Information Pollution

Anthony Spina, Ph.D. is the Associate Director and Lecturer in the MA program in Corporate and Organizational Communications at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He delivers courses primarily focused on organizational issues such as culture, change, communication, and social media’s impact on community and communication. His education includes graduate degrees in both the physical and social sciences and a Ph.D. in Human & Organizational Systems.
Prior to joining FDU, he completed over 25 years of business and industry experience in both internal and external consulting. Dr. Spina has broad professional experience in multiple disciplines, such as organizational effectiveness, research, market analysis, education & training, change management, information technology, and marketing. He is the founder and president of Knowledge Resources, a 20-year old consulting organization focused on facilitating transitioning processes for both individuals and organizations attempting to meet the challenges and demands of constantly changing, complex environments.
His goals include efforts to continue researching issues associated with information and communication technologies, work/life balance, organizational cultures, and social movements with their associated implications to our working, learning, and leisure lives. Dr. Spina is a self-identified “recovering technocrat”, who closely and passionately monitors technological trends.
