PhD student on competitive intelligence and Information Overload, and consultant at Acrie Competitive Intelligence (World Director for Acrie Competitive Intelligence Network).

10 years experience in information (competitive intelligence), Consulting and training, realizing studies for my customers, and Research over CI and over Information Management (PhD Student as well).

Started my career in CI at Intelco, Paris (National Service end of 1996). Prior to this (93-94) One year sandwich course (12 months) as Market Research Assistant for 3 continents, at Arco Chemicals HQ in GB.

Started my own business in CI at the beginning of 1998.

Wrote two books on general searching (2001) and treating (2003) and wrote a couple of scientific papers (see www.pascalfrion.unblog.fr). Member of various CI networks, Ihedn (www.ihedn.fr), French CI Academy (www.academie-ie.org), Scip US.

Former speaker at the French Economic War School during 4 years, and in various universities and Cac40 companies.

Acrie Competitive Intelligence Network gathers 17 independent agencies in 8 countries today. My agency specializes in 1-50 people companies, for which the usual CI methodology does not work. Acrie Network is regularly providing on the spot studies, consulting, training, CI programs for groups of organizations.
