Reducing Information Pollution

My name is Shamel Addas, and I am a PhD Candidate in the Destaules Faculty of Management, McGill University. My research is centered on the impacts of information technology at the group level. More specifically, I am conducting research on the impacts of using information technologies in the product development process, and I’m focusing on the effects of knowledge integration and technology interruptions. This research is supervised by my committee members: Alain Pinsonneault, Ph.D. (advisor), Wonseok Oh, Ph.D., Suzanne Rivard, Ph.D., and Omar El Sawy, Ph.D.
I hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA (John Molson School of Business).
In the past, I have accumulated 7 years working experience as a Production Engineer and a Microsoft Service Professional.
